Modular Drilling Rigs – made in Germany

Every project and location confronts the drilling operator with new challenges. Together with our clients we develop a drilling rig that not only meets the specific requirements, but is also flexible enough for use in other areas due to its modular design.

STREICHER has extensive know-how in all relevant disciplines. This includes: steel structures, statics, FEM and dynamic design calculation, fluidic flow design, drive engineering including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrics and electronics, the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), software and visuals. Together with our own production facility, we have all fields of activity and interfaces within the Group and can guarantee the quality of our integrated, high-class products.

For construction we use the 3-D CAD program ProEngineer as a standard. Calculations and simulations are carried out with the Dlubal-RSTAB-program and the finite element analysis software ANSYS.

To ensure the optimum implementation of our ideas and plans, we have substantial production capacity available. Our specialist staff works with efficient and modern machinery.

As well as this modern equipment, we also have sufficient space for prefabrication and assembly of even the largest drilling rigs and components. Our overall floor capacity amounts to 15,000 square meters.

An 8,000 square meter drilling rig testing site is located at our fabrication yard in Deggendorf which offers sufficient space for the concurrent assembly of two drilling rigs, including utility equipment. Furthermore, drilling rigs and components can be realistically tested and commissioned.
